For those who want something a little smaller we have our bronze crowns, a whole turkey but with legs & dark meat removed. The same delicious award-winning free range whole bronze turkey with plenty of juicy meat and a rich traditional flavour. Our turkeys truly are the cream of the coop, free range, hand plucked and game hung for two weeks.

We choose bronze breed turkeys for their award-winning flavour and texture, but this does mean that sometimes their feather stubs are visible. Our birds are dry plucked by hand, we don’t blast them with water, so you might find a few more feather stubs than on commercial turkeys, but this is normal. Please do not spend time pulling these out as most will burn off during cooking, and those that don’t are much easier to remove once the bird comes out of the oven.

Each bird comes boxed with giblets, recipe leaflet & handy pop-up timer.

Small (2.5-3.49kg): Feeds 6-9 people
Medium (3.5-4.49kg): Feeds 9-12 people.
Large (4.5-5.49kg): Feeds 12-15 people.

We have bought Copas turkeys for years and will continue to do so. For the past two years we have bought a Copas Turkey Crown. As with all Copas turkeys, they are simply best and well worth the money. The whole experience of purchasing and eating Copas turkey is fantastic and we have no hesitation in recommending them. The welfare of all Copas animals is second to none and it comes through in the taste and texture of the meat. If you do not like turkey, buy a Copas turkey. You will soon change your mind. Thank you Copas, and we look forward to seeing you again, hopefully in safer circumstances, next year. This years collection was a complete success and very well managed. Thank you once again .....

Easily the best tasting turkey I’ve ever had. Cooking instructions spot on. I buy from Copas every Christmas and would not consider buying from anywhere else.

The best turkey we have ever tasted! Genuinely, I avoid turkey normally as I only get it for the family but after hearing their oohs and ahhs whilst eating it, I thought I would break the turkey ban and try some. It was tender, delicious and even better cold! We shall certainly be ordering for next Christmas!! Also wonderful to support a local business, far better than the big corporations.

Amazing quality, succulent and great taste. The staff who work there are fab too. This year we collected our turkey using the drive thru service, we couldn’t fault the system or the cheerful, happy staff we saw on that day. Well done to everyone at Copas and can we have the drive thru system next year please?

BRONZE TURKEY CROWN

Cooked as per supplied instructions, very moist with excellent flavour. Made great sandwiches and soup as well.

1. Insert the pop-up cooking timer into the breast of the crown.
2. Remove our traceability wing label and place your crown in a roasting tin.
3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper then cover with foil.
4. Cook at the starting temperature (220ºC / 200ºFan / 430ºF / Gas Mark 7) for 30 minutes then reduce the oven to the roasting temperature (180ºC / 160ºFan / 350ºF / Gas Mark 4) for the remainder of the cooking time.
5. Remove the foil approximately 30 minutes before the end to allow the skin to brown.
6. Remove the crown from the oven once the Pop-Up Timer pops, or your meat thermometer reads 68 degrees,
7. Cover with foil & allow to rest for up to an hour.

Full Cooking Times (approx)

Small (2-2.99kg): 1 hour 10 minutes
Medium (3-3..99kg): 1 hour 30 minutes
Large (4-4.99kg): 2 hours
Extra Large (5kg+): 2 hours 15 minutes +

Nationwide delivery by our nominated couriers on 22nd December. Your order will be packed in recyclable insulated packaging and will be dispatched on a pre 2pm next day service. The £20 delivery fee covers the delivery service, packaging, insulation, ice packs and fulfilment. FREE DELIVERY on all orders over £175.

Year Round & Non-Christmas Orders

Collect from the Farm, we are open around Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Weekly nationwide delivery, arriving Thursday each week. Deliveries are sent out in recyclable insulated packaging with ice packs on a pre 2pm service weekly.
