Take a Half Term Turkey Ramble
28th Oct 2020
“Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are
hard to beat.” ― Laura Ingalls Wilder
This old adage feels more relevant this half term than ever before. As the days get shorter and the weather feels more chilly getting outside is more important than ever. We know fresh air is known to boost our immune system, help with stress, increase happiness and energise us, so we wanted to extend an invitation to you all…..
This half term why not take a walk along our footpath and meet our flocks of very very special turkeys. If you haven’t visited our home at Kings Coppice Farm before you are in for a fresh air treat! We are lucky enough to have a footpath running through the farm so you can pop down 24/7 whenever it works for your flock. You’ll experience the space and beauty of the meadows that our turkeys enjoy every day, you’ll watch them playing musical instruments, and you may even spot an alpaca or two!
For directions to the farm click on “Visit Us” here, and before you come down don’t forget to visit our Kids Coop (the area of our website designed for children) and our videos for your children to learn more about the life of a very very special Copas turkey.
Get outside, explore our beautiful village of Cookham, help your children learn more about our turkeys, and get some fresh air with your family this week. We look forward to seeing you soon.
