Turkey Update: They're looking good & growing fast!

The poults arrived 5 weeks ago so it's nearly time for them to move from the protection of the barns to the open fields & cherry orchards where they will free range through to December. When they arrive at just one day old, the tiny, fluffy birds are placed in chicken wire pens to get them used to their new surroundings. After 2 weeks, these pens are removed and the turkeys are free to run around the barn to their hearts content.
