We offer delicious award-winning free-range whole bronze turkeys that are packed with juicy meat and have a rich traditional flavour. Our turkeys are truly the best of the best, being free-range, hand-plucked, and game-hung for two weeks.
We select bronze breed turkeys for their award-winning flavour and texture, but this does mean that sometimes their feather stubs are visible. Our birds are dry-plucked by hand, and we do not blast them with water, so you might find a few more feather stubs than on commercial turkeys. However, this is completely normal. Please do not spend time pulling these out as most of them will burn off during cooking.
Each bird comes boxed with giblets, a recipe leaflet, and a handy pop-up timer.

7Kg Free Range While Bronze Turkey - asked for larger bird if possible, but at 7.1Kg was at the lowest expected, so a little disappointed. REPLY: Hi Simon, thanks for the feedback. Sorry to read that your bird was on the small size this year. The bird sizing really does change year to year depending on weather, how much the birds eat etc. 2023 birds were almost spot on to our forecasts, some years you might end with a much bigger bird.

Slightly disappointed as it didn’t have quite as good a flavour as expected from previous years. It was also rather more fatty! Are you feeding them differently?

I loved my Copas turkey this year, it was delicious and succulent. We cooked it as per the helpful instructions and it was tender and tasty. It was the best turkey that I have ever had!

The Turkey was as delicious as ever however I have to mention the price. Was it 15% up on last year? Its been going up at quite a rate. I know we've had inflation but paying so much even for a fabulous bird even at Christmas is over the top now in my opinion. We nearly didn't get one.
1. Insert the pop-up cooking timer into the breast of the bird.
2. Remove our traceability wing label and place your turkey, breast side down in a roasting tin.
3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper then cover with foil.
4. Cook at the starting temperature (220ºC / 200ºFan / 430ºF / Gas Mark 7) for 30 minutes then reduce the oven to the roasting temperature (180ºC / 160ºFan / 375ºF / Gas Mark 4) for the remainder of the cooking time.
5. Remove the foil approximately 30 minutes before the end to allow the skin to brown.
6. Remove the turkey from the oven once the Pop-Up Timer pops, or your meat thermometer reads 68 degrees, Cover the bird with foil & allow to rest for up to an hour.
8 - 10 servings (4kg): 2 hours
10 - 12 servings (5kg): 2 hours 15 minutes
12 - 14 servings (6kg): 2 hours 30 minutes
14 - 16 servings (7kg): 3 hours
16 - 18 servings (8kg): 3 hours 30 minutes
18 - 20 servings (9kg): 4 hours
20 - 22 servings (10kg): 4 hours 30 minutes

Nationwide delivery by our nominated couriers on 22nd December. Your order will be packed in recyclable insulated packaging and will be dispatched on a pre 2pm next day service. The £20 delivery fee covers the delivery service, packaging, insulation, ice packs and fulfilment. FREE DELIVERY on all orders over £175.
Collect from the Farm, we are open around Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Weekly nationwide delivery, arriving Thursday each week.
